December and January words of the months were "Creative and Loyal", respectively.

The teachers and staff observe students, and when they catch them displaying good character -being creative and loyal- they send the student's name to me and I give them an award and enter their name in a drawing for a grand prize. We had many creative and loyal little warriors! In December and January, I was able to give away McDonald's Ice cream cones, pies, French fries, and drinks from the Gassville McDonald's, plus a grand prize, a free kids meal at Sonic in Gassville.

The grand prize winner for the month of December is a 4th grade student from Mrs. Moore's class. January's grand prize winner is a 5th grade student from Mrs. Burns class.

February's word of the month is "Perseverance".
